  • Sat on Pathways to Care Committee with CMO and Specialty Chiefs to successfully implement automated quarterly color graphical quality dashboards for all /each attending physician, with identification of specific patient cases that were flagged for quality issues per coding data.
  • Worked with multiple Hospitalist Groups to appropriately discharge patients in a timely manner by measuring 3M Severity Adjusted LOS versus CMS Severity Adjusted LOS and incentivizing providers to get closer to (but not below the CMS Severity Adjusted LOS). This included posting results by Physician in the Physician Only lounge (physicians are very competitive), identifying & remedying barriers to timely discharge, and providing an overall group quarterly incentive for moving closer to (but not below) the CMS Severity Adjusted LOS.
  • Worked to turnaround and manage tight cash flow when employed by Park Ridge Hospital (Unity Health System) as CFO of Medical Group. This included, working with Cap Gemini to drop hospital subsidy of Medical group by $6m (about 10%) with win-win initiative {providers salaries not lowered but aligned incentives based on current national & local reimbursement}.
